Constable Country Tour

Tour by Taxi is based in Colchester, five miles from the Essex/Suffolk border, where there are a wide range of tourist destinations to discover.

Colchester is just an hour by train from London or Norwich and 45 minutes drive from Stansted Airport.

Our private tour gives you the opportunity to explore and appreciate this picturesque environment at a leisurely pace. Each tour can be tailored to your preferences so we can concentrate on what appeals to you. Please follow the links above to see more details of your chosen tour.

Our itineraries include what we consider to be the must-see highlights of the area, and the time you spend at each location is flexible to ensure you get the most out of your day.

Your driver will collect your party of up to six people from your chosen location. Tours will usually start at 10.00am and normally last about six hours, giving you ample time to enjoy the locations at a relaxing pace. If you would like to extend the time of your tour then this is negotiable with the driver on the day. The pick up time can also be adjusted to fit into your day.
